Story Vets Today, room 4 has been learning how to create a story board and here's mine! I think I've done pretty well so far and I'm almost done! This was really easy for me to do and I enjoyed doing it. If you did one, what story would you choose to do?
Tinfoil person
Here is my tinfoil person, it is a person Snowboarding. (Mid jump) In the background there are hills of snow, clouds and a flag to mark the start as well as a board with the Olympic logo on it. Here’s some information about who this is: This is Christy Prior, she is from New Zealand and was born in 1988, the 28th of November. Her first ever Olympics was in Sochi, 2014 where she got 21st place. The event she was in is called Slope style.

it is a place that’s just for me.
I decorated it myself,
the doors, walls, floor and bookshelf.
My cozy bed makes me smile,
I only get up every once in a while.
Paralympics Sport – 31/7/2024
Today I managed to finish my work on Para Snowboarding and the work is in this Google doc link
It’s about how to play/the rules of Para Snowboarding. I have also written a story with me acting as a competitor in that Paralympics Sport.
2028 Olympics-25/7/2024
Today in room 4 we watched a video and learnt that these 5 sports will be at the Olympics in 2028 at LA. There will be Cricket, Squash, Flag football, Baseball/softball and lacrosse.

have never seen anyone play it before, have you seen anyone play it?
Lacrosse is a game played by two teams in which the players each use a long stick with a net at the end to catch, carry and throw a small ball and try to get the ball in the other team’s goal.
I liked doing this work, it was very simple and easy for me.
Paralympics Mascots – 23/7/2024
These phryges represent an item of clothing that is a symbol of freedom and has been a part of French history for centuries. The sports they were playing in the video are Basketball, Archery, skateboarding and running. After watching the video I think some character traits the mascots have are competitive, determined, friendly, sharp minded, proud and athletic.
Persuasive writing 22/7/2024
WALT: Understand what persuasive writing is.
Persuasive writing is a piece of writing that convinces someone to do/say something or to make them change their mind by explaining why you think it is a good/bad idea. You can also try to persuade someone to believe you or to stop/start doing something. Instead of complaining about what someone is doing, you could try to persuade (convince) them that they should change whatever they are doing that you think is wrong. Persuading is like arguing for what you think is right. To persuade someone you can either plan it out or say what comes off the top of your head. You can try to persuade anyone, even people on the internet with commercial or a review.
I think that doing this helped me understand a lot about Persuasive writing.
